About the Author: Daniel Wolfe published his first book, The Red Ball, in 2025. Sofia's Monster is his second. His stories are inspired by and written for his own kids but are relatable for kids everywhere. Daniel writes books that resonate with kids right where they are developmentally, hoping to spark imagination, encourage play, and create cherished reading moments for families everywhere. He lives in Fargo, North Dakota.

About the Illustrator: Julia J Wolfe, Daniel's sister, is a multidisciplinary artist whose professional art practice whimsically reflects on life under late-stage capitalism. She has always loved drawing, reading comics strips, and creating goofy characters - Calvin & Hobbes is still a big influence. She lives in Rochester, NY with her husband, two cats, two dogs, and too many houseplants.
