Life is good. I’ve got a best friend, a new family, and more than one hot guy at my fingertips.

Until the day I finally shift. That’s when two goons with an electrified cage break through the wards on my family's property and kidnap me. I’m caged, collared, and kept underground by a monster who’s trying to pry my magic out of me so he can harvest my gems.

While trapped in my prison, I'm inexplicably drawn to a Magi with glowing eyes, while a strange woman in a filigreed mask silently watches me. And my spitfire of a warden gives me whiplash with her mood swings. I don’t know who I can trust.
